Can you get oil and BBQ stains out?

Most surface oil, grease and BBQ splatter lifts with our treatment. Oil that has soaked deep into bare, unsealed timber can leave a shadow behind — we'll tell you honestly what we think will come out when we quote, rather than promise a result we can't guarantee.

How often should I clean my deck?

Once a year suits most Auckland decks and keeps the surface safe underfoot. Decks in heavy shade, under trees or backing onto bush go green faster and can be worth doing a little more often.

Is it safe for my plants and pets?

Yes. We use biodegradable treatments and take care around gardens, pots and greenery — the same soft-wash process we use on houses and roofs, which is designed to be safe for plants, lawns and pets.

Does this work on composite decking?

Yes. Composite and WPC boards still grow mould and algae in the surface grain, and soft washing is the right method for them — high pressure can permanently mar the embossed finish, which is exactly what we avoid.
